WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Increase awareness on how to make more effective decisions on when to carry out maintenance, whether to replace, repair or upgrade and more value from a company’s assets and thus contributing to lower operating costs.

Too often, maintenance is carried out too early or too late. In this workshop, we will look at risk and risk management tools, and also criticality and prioritization to focus our improvement effort. Life cycle approach decisions to evaluate alternative options, repair, replace or upgrade will also be covered. Because studies in RCM shows that people frequently base maintenance task frequencies on MTBF, there will also be a demonstration of how MTBF has no value in selecting task frequencies.

This 2-day workshop on  is concerned with making more informed decisions on when to carry out maintenance based either on costs or availability.
